A Community Hub

About Exhale Harm Reduction Centre

Exhale Harm Reduction Centre is a dedicated community hub supporting adult cannabis users through education, harm reduction, and supervised consumption.

Our mission is to empower individuals with the knowledge to make safer, informed choices while actively working to reduce the stigma surrounding cannabis use. We provide a range of harm reduction services, educational programs, and a safe, supervised environment for cannabis consumption. Our team offers non-judgmental support to foster a healthier, well-informed community.

The centre stands as a testament to the legacy of Ron Hogg, the former Police and Crime Commissioner for Durham, who was a pioneer in cannabis reform across the UK. His progressive stance on drug policy and harm reduction brought about significant changes in how cannabis was policed in Durham. Ron’s compassionate advocacy deeply influenced Michael, the founder of Teesside Cannabis Club, and together they developed a model that decriminalized cannabis users while promoting education and harm reduction strategies.

Through initiatives like Teesside Cannabis Club, Ron demonstrated that law enforcement could take a pragmatic, human-centred approach to drug policy, helping pave the way for similar harm reduction efforts across the UK. Exhale Harm Reduction Centre is a living shrine to Ron Hogg’s legacy, continuing the vital work he began in creating safer, more informed communities.
